Integrating Sub-Affiliates

Sub-affiliates refer to the affiliates registered under a user's main affiliate account. The main affiliate will obtain short links for their sub-affiliates and distribute these short links to them. When a sub-affiliate completes an order transaction using a short link, the returned order data from Thinla Affiliate will include information identifying which specific sub-affiliate the order belongs to.


To enable this functionality, we require the caller to provide the Extension Code field when requesting short links. This field will be included in the subsequent order or billing records returned to the caller, allowing the user to identify which specific sub-affiliate the order belongs to.

The following APIs require the ExtensionCode to be provided:

  • Claim shop's shortlink
  • Claim product's shortlink
  • Bulk claim product's shortlink by product ID
Notice

The extensionCode must consist of a combination of numbers and letters.

Extension Support​

Currently, all claim short link APIs support extension codes.

  • Login the thinla affiliate platform in www.thinlaaffiliate.com
  • Click Console on top right corner.
  • Click "Shop List" in left menu panel alt text
  • Enter shop detail via click one shop on list
  • Click "Custom Short Links" button on top right corner. alt text
  • Input your link and extension code on text box and click "Generate" alt text
  • Enter product detail page for the product which you want claim on with extension code alt text
  • Click "Claim extension link". It pop up a dialog ask you to input extension code. alt text
  • Input extension code and click "Claim" button. The dialog will be closed. You can find the short link on page detail.
